B E A U T Y | Urban Decay Naked Three Palette.

This post is long overdue. I have been wanting to finish my collection of the Naked palettes for a while now (check out my others here and here, like what I did there haha). I have had this one since it was first released I just never actually got around to doing it, so here it is.

I have to firstly say, this definitely is my least favourite of the three, while the rose gold packaging and the colours are lovely, they just don't seem to appeal to me as much as the other two do. Whereas it is my friend Kat's favorite of the three, so it all depends on preference I think. One thing I do love about this palette though is that there are no repeats of the other two palettes in here, all of the shades are completely new.

As I mentioned in my review of the second palette, I really don't love the metal packaging, I much prefer the first ones suade effect packaging, it just seems much more sturdy, I always worry with these that the pans will fall out, touch wood so far mine haven't ha. However, I do love the brushes in the second and third in comparison to the first, I find the fluffy end great for blending for the perfect smokey eye and the flat end for packing on the colour for ultimate pigmentation.

Again with the third palette I have to say again that the pigmentation and the quality of the shadows are fantastic. For the price I just think it is fantastic, it is a high end product but you are getting twelve shadows for £37.

My favourite shades are  Burnout, Buzz, Trick, Noomer, Mugshot and Blackheart.

Have you tried any of the Naked palettes? Which is your favourite?

B E A U T Y | Spring Top 10 Essentials.

These are my go-to items for this Spring. Although the weather still isn't amazing I am still going more towards colour rather than my usual monochrome patterns.

1. BARRY M GELLY NAIL VARNISHES

SHADES:
Satsuma
Huckleberry

These have been my favourites nail varnishes so far this Spring, although I am not one of those girls who always has pristine nails (due to having the patience of a two year old) these are the colours I will generally have on. You can be sure they will be chipped but hey ho. The Barry M Gelly nail polishes are amazing, the consistency is great, they dry fairly quickly and they tend to last a long time before chipping.

2. TONY AND GUY SEA SALT TEXTURISING SPRAY

This is amazing!! It has been so hyped up in the blogging world, and in my opinion it definitely deserves it. It's perfect for those days when you don't have a lot of time to 'faff' about with your hair or when you're avoiding using too much heat. I just spray it on my dry natural hair and it creates these great textured waves.

3. URBAN DECAY NAKED SKIN WEIGHTLESS ULTRA DEFINITION LIQUID MAKEUP
(That was a mouthful)

SHADE:
3.5

This has been my go to foundation, it is so lightweight which is great for those days when it is a little hotter, but at the same time it still gives a great coverage. It is also supposed to be good for your skin and prevents break outs. (That was what the lady on the counter told me anyway, haha)

4. CHANEL COCO MADEMOISELLE

This is my all time favourite perfume. It has such a beautiful, classy smell to it. I love that it is so distinctive and you can tell whenever someone is wearing it. It is a great alternative to the Chanel No5 which I personally think is too strong for me. (PS I am rubbish at explaining smells, incase you hadn't already noticed, haha)

5. MAYBELLINE NEW YORK BABY LIPS

SHADE/FLAVOUR:
Cherry Lips

This is such a great for Spring because as the weather changes, the more your lips are prone to becoming chapped. Oh my god, do my lips get chapped haha. This lip balm though is great, it is so moisturising and although the colour isn't all that amazing, it is brilliant to just chuck in your bag and apply anywhere.

6. REVLON COLORBURST MATTE BALM

SHADE:
245 Audacious

This is my favourite lip product this season, the colour is the perfect Spring shade as it adds a lovely pop of colour to any outfit. The matte finish adds a grungy kind of effect which I really like (only when my lips are moisturised though). It is fairly inexpensive as well at around £7.99. It is just a great all rounder really.

7. NAKED THREE PALLET
The Naked Three pallet has been the eyeshadow pallet I have been reaching for most this season because the colours are less harsh and tend to brighten up your eyes more for around this time of year. (Will be doing a full review soooon)

8. EBAY ELEPHANT PHONE CASE

Everyone needs a really colourful pretty phone case for this time of year and I am completely in love with this one in particular. Have a look for yourself here.

9. TOPSHOP SUNGLASSES

I would say a pair of sunglasses are essential but as seen as we have had practically no sun, maybe I'm wrong. Nevertheless I have been reaching for these and even if they just end up on top of my head at least it gives a Springy vibe. I am in love with these ones from Topshop.

10, Colourful 'Statement' Necklace

At the minute everyone is in need of a colourful statement necklace and I am obsessed with this little beautful mint one from Accessorize.

So what are your Spring essentials?

B E A U T Y | Urban Decay Naked Two Palette.

For a long time I was umming and aahing about whether or not I wanted to actually buy the Naked Two. I am generally really pale and the colours in the palette are really cool toned, so I thought that it would just wash me out. Oh I was so very wrong, I absolutely love it and I tend to turn to it an awful lot more than I ever thought I would.

When I went to buy it the woman at the counter was so lovely, I was chatting away to her about how I wasn't too sure about whether it was for me or not, so she offered to do my make up for me. Of course I jumped at the opportunity and I really loved the way she did it. I think she mainly used Bootycall, Chopper, YDK and Busted. She went for more of an everyday neutral look and it really did look great.

As I mentioned in my blog post about the Naked One Palette the packaging in the Second and Third ones definitely isn't my favourite. I really don't like the fact that it feels like it could snap every time I open it, or the fact that it is literally just a tin can. For the price I would hope that it would be a little more luxurious, but hey ho.

However, the brush in the Second and Third is much better than that of the one in the First, the fluffy end is such a great addition. The flat end allows you to compact the colour that you want onto your eye, then the fluffy end helps you to blend it all together and even smoke it out if you wanted.

The colour range is again absolutely fantastic yet again in this palette, there are so many combinations and it's just so versatile. It can take you from an everyday neutral look to a dramatic smokey look for a night out.

My most used colours are:
- Bootycall
- Chopper
- Pistol
- Verve
- YDK
- Busted
- Blackout
(Pretty much all of them...)

From left to right:
Foxy (perfect base colour)
Half-Baked
Bootycall (perfect tear-duct colour)
Chopper

Tease (also a great base colour)
Snakebite
Suspect
Pistol (great for a subtle smokey eye)

Verve (also great for the tear-duct)
YDK
Busted
Blackout (my ultimate favourite eye shadow for a dramatic smokey eye)

Take a look at one here for yourself
Would you invest in one? Which is your favourite colour?

B E A U T Y | Urban Decay Naked Palette One.

As you can tell my Naked palette has definitely seen better days. I'd just call it well loved. When I say this is most definitely the best thing in my make up collection, I am not exaggerating. It is my go to product on almost a daily basis.

The thing about the Naked palettes is that everyone will have a particular one that is their favourite, and although I do love the other two, this is by far my number one. I would say that the reason for this is that the colour variations are brilliant and leave you spoiled for choice. The pigmentation of all of the colours is also amazing while it allows you to build it up for a more dramatic look. Not only is the pigmentation great, but they are also so easily blended, which for me was essential as this was when I first started experimenting with eyeshadow, and to be honest had no idea what I was doing.

Another reason for it being my favourite out of the three is the packaging. I love the feel of the felt casing, while feeling luxurious it also feels so much more sturdy and secure. For the price you would want to be ensured that you're getting your moneys worth and it is going to last. Whereas the second and the third palette are in a tin casing, where I have heard that the colours can fall out and the lid can snap just after a short amount of time.

The only thing I will say about the first palette is that the brush is not as good as the others. While it is great for the crease, there is no way for you to blend the eyeshadows purely with that brush. Yet in the other two palettes there is another end to the brush which allows you to blend as well.

I believe that every girl NEEDS this palette in their lives.
